Role: Retail Associate
Full-time Seasonal: Daytime, Evening and Weekend work is required.
Salary/Wages: Starting at $16.00/hr

THE POSITION We are looking for highly motivated and hard-working individuals to work in our retail store at 7724 Roblin Blvd. Successful applicants will have excellent customer service skills, be a team-player, and willingness to learn. Come help our customers make their garden dreams come true!

  • RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE
    Helping customers locate products when they enter the store
  • Ensure displays of seeds, accessories, and other supplies are well stocked and organized
  • Work checkout and help customers bring their purchases to their car
  • Basic phone and computer functions
    ○look up orders, customer accounts, answer phone inquiries
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the store
    ○watering and treating tropical plants
    ○sweeping/dusting
    ○ensure no safety hazards for customers
  • REQUIREMENTS
    Excellent verbal communication and customer service skills
  • Self-starter, and ability to work in a collaborative team environment
  • Ability to lift 50lbs
  • Basic computer skills
  • Horticulture background/knowledge is an asset
  • Ability to multitask in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Available to work during regular store hours including flexibility to work weekends as required

Job Type: Full-time, permanent year-round
Hours of Work: 8 am–4:30 pm, Mon–Fri, with flexibility for weekends, snow removal, and occasional work outside regular hours.

THE POSITION
Reporting to the Director of Operations, the Maintenance Person is responsible for keeping our facilities, equipment, and grounds safe, functional, and well maintained. This hands-on role is ideal for a reliable, mechanically inclined “jack of all trades” who enjoys problem-solving, working independently, and being outdoors year-round.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment and facilities
  • Troubleshoot and complete minor to moderate repairs independently
  • Operate equipment such as skid steers and tractors for site work and material handling
  • Maintain and repair irrigation systems and perform basic plumbing
  • Support building projects, groundskeeping, seasonal setup, and snow removal
  • Keep tools, equipment, and work areas clean and organized

REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven experience in general maintenance, construction, or equipment operation
  • Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs
  • Valid driver’s license is an asset

Role: Customer Service Associate Permanent: January to June 30-40 hrs/week (weekend work is required)
July to December 16-40 hrs/week (Monday-Friday)

THE POSITION Reporting to the Manager of Customer Success and Fulfillment, this role involves answering phones and emails, taking phone orders, helping customers with questions or concerns, processing mail and fax orders, and occasionally assisting with picking and shipping orders.
