Back by popular demand–customers old favourite! This giant Carrot is very deceiving–an Oriental type with amazing size and a very sweet tender flavour. Carrots are 20 cm ( 8 in) long and can easily weigh up to 500 gr (1 lb). Fun for the Kids to grow too!
Planting Instructions
Seed outdoors as soon as weather and soil conditions permit. Cover seed lightly with soil, 6 to 7 seeds per 30 cm (1 ft) of row. Average garden soil and a sunny location is ideal. Carrots germinate in 7 to 14 days. Keep soil moist until all seed has germinated, do not allow soil to crust. As Carrot seed is very fine it can cook on extreme hot days. The garden blanket is ideal as an aid speed-up germination. Thin to 3 cm (1 1/2 in) apart when plants are 6 cm (3 in) high. Approximately 900 seeds per gram.
