Features deep burgundy, maple-shaped leaves with serrated edges – an attractive look similar to a Japanese Maple. Ideally suited to the landscape, this drought and heat-resistant variety also combines well in containers with other vigorous sun-loving plants. Planting Instructions
Plant seed indoors 6 to 8 weeks in advance of intended date for transplanting to the garden. Germinates best at 22 C (70 F). Cover seed lightly with soil medium. Germinates in 7 to 14 days. Grow on with day temperature at 25 (75 F) and night temperature at 22 (70 F). Fertilize every 2 weeks with 10-52-17 and liquid seaweed for strong healthy plants. Will grow in full sun, great in containers, space 60 cm (2 ft) apart.
