Description

Vibrant bright purple flowers are similar in colour to popular Wave Purple! Plants spread 1.2 m (4 ft) in a season and are covered with 5 cm (2 in) purple blooms, while maintaining low plant height of 18 cm (7 in). Excellent in containers! (Pelleted seed). Wave petunias require no deadheading. As the flowers wilt and dry up, they fall naturally from the plant, and new blooms soon takes their place.

Planting Instructions

Start seed 8 to 10 weeks prior to intended date of transplanting outside. Press seed into soil as light will aid germination. Germinates best at 24 C (75 F) in 5-15 days. Grow plants to budding stage at 12 C (55 F). Petunias lose dwarf growth habit if grown above that temperature. Fertilize every 2 weeks with 10-52-17 and liquid seaweed for strong healthy plants. Garden spacing 20-30 cm (8-12 in) apart. Pinch old flowers off to encourage more bloom.

NOTE: Seed is pelletized. During shipping material can be crushed. The seed is very fine and will be alright. Just plant all the powdery material within the tube and the seed will germinate.
