Description

Paskapoo is a very short, broad headed tree with stout stumpy growth. The branching is very lateral – giving it good winter interest. Due to it’s short stature there is little chance of it out-growing an urban site. A very drought tolerant selection of a local Balsam Poplar growing on the west side of Calgary. Maximum size will be 6 m (20 ft high), 5 m (15 ft) wide. Fall colour is bright yellow. The tree maintains a strong Balsam Poplar odor through the growing season. Plants approximately 35 cm (14 in) at shipping time.
