Beautiful, eye-catching green leaves with beautifully rich red undersides. Good salad mix item, or use larger leaves as sushi wraps or garnishes. Also good for ornamental use. The flowers are edible and are a flavourful addition to salads and Asian dishes. Pairs well with fish, rice, noodles, and cucumbers. The minty, basil-like flavour has hints of clove and cumin.
