The Golden Pear Tree is a seedling of Ure selected specifically for improved vigor and cold hardiness; it matures 10-14 days ahead of its parent, produces 2 in. golden fruit excellent for fresh eating, and puts on showy white spring flowers before developing into a 15 ft specimen with good fall colour.
