PEONY PLANTING & CARE
Peonies are hardy, long-lived perennials that thrive in full sun and well-drained soil. With their large, lush blooms, peonies make a stunning addition to any garden and require minimal maintenance once established.
PLANTING INSTRUCTIONS
- Choose a sunny location with well-drained soil
- Plant roots so the top is covered with no more than 2 in. of soil
- Water generously for the first month to help plants establish
- Space plants 3–4 ft. apart to allow for proper air circulation
CARE TIPS
Watering & Mulching: Keep soil moist but not soggy. A light layer of mulch in early spring helps retain moisture and suppress weeds.
Support: Large blooms may require staking to prevent stems from bending or breaking.
