Role: Customer Service Associate
Permanent: January to June 30-40 hrs/week (Saturdays on a rotating basis
is required). July to December 16-40 hrs/week (Monday-Friday)

Salary/Wages: Starting at $16.00/hr
THE POSITION
Reporting to the Manager of Customer Success & Fulfillment, the Customer Service Associate is responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers through phone, email, and other communication channels. This role includes assisting customers with product inquiries, placing orders, warranty claims, returns and general
support while ensuring every interaction is professional, knowledgeable, and
friendly.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Answer customer phone calls and respond to email inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Resolve customer concerns with empathy, professionalism, and effective problem-solving.
  • Process mail and fax orders accurately.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate customer records.
  • Contribute to a positive team environment while delivering an outstanding customer experience.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Strong conflict resolution and problem-solving abilities.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Self-motivated with a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Comfortable using computers and learning new software systems.
  • Willingness to learn and use AI tools;
    prior experience with AI platforms is an asset.
  • Gardening or horticultural knowledge is considered a strong asset.
  • Ability to adapt in a fast-paced, seasonal work environment.
  • Must love dogs - we're a dog-friendly workplace!
