PRUNING & MAINTENANCE
Heavy pruning should be done in early spring (April–May) before leaves emerge. Light shaping and maintenance pruning can be done throughout the summer as needed.
Villosa Lilac: Prune only after flowering to avoid removing next year’s blooms.
Evergreens: Prune in late August, once new growth has finished.
