Together these four perennials create a natural progression of height - Rudbeckia at 18-24 in. in the front, Achillea at 24-30 in. in the mid-border, and Heliopsis reaching 36-48 in. at the back - while the Gaillardia anchors the warm palette with its continuous early-summer-to-fall fire. The colours move from deep sangria red and orange-red through every shade of gold and yellow, holding a cohesive warm tone across all four plants. Rudbeckia brings heat and drought tolerance to the mix, Heliopsis doubles as a cutting flower, and the Gaillardia keeps butterflies coming all season.
