Fall Red is a hardy Canadian apple with large red fruit and crisp, white flesh. The flavour is sweet with a little tartness, much like a McIntosh.
Apples ripen in late summer to early fall and store for up to 10 weeks. Great for fresh eating and cooking. White blossoms blushed pink open in spring, and leaves turn yellow in fall.
Plant another apple variety nearby for pollination.
