Brunswick Blueberry was found in a commercial lowbush blueberry field in Albert County, New Brunswick, and tested in Kentville, Nova Scotia. It's a vigorous plant, sending up stems as tall as 12 in. in the first year.
Up to 20 light blue berries form at the tips of the stems. They're fairly large, with outstanding yields and fine wild-blueberry flavour. Deep green leaves turn brilliant colours in fall.
Plant in full sun in well-drained, acidic soil (pH 4.0-5.5). Mulch with pine needles or bark to keep roots cool and moist.
