Calla Lily ‘Captain Lido’ brings warm colour to the garden. Its yellow, trumpet-shaped blooms are washed in orange-pink, deepening to near-red at the edges. A soft yellow spadix sits in the centre of each flower.
The leaves are glossy green and spotted with white, so the plant looks good even before it blooms. Flowers appear through summer on sturdy stems.
Use it in containers, borders or as a long-lasting cut flower. Plant in spring after frost. Lift and store indoors over winter, or grow it in containers you can bring inside.
