very slow to start and somewhat poor germination

We’re sorry to hear that your Baby Spike carrot seeds were slow to start and that you experienced lower-than-expected germination. Carrots can be a bit slower to germinate than many other vegetables and require consistent moisture during the germination period. If the soil surface dries out, even briefly, it can impact germination rates.
