Sie eignet sich hervorragend zum Frischverzehr und lässt sich gut lagern, obwohl ihr Geschmack am besten zur Geltung kommt, wenn sie direkt vom Baum genossen wird.

Diese zuverlässige Frühapfelsorte wurde in der Morden Research Station entwickelt und reift im August, was sie zu einer ausgezeichneten Wahl für Gärtner macht, die Früchte vor dem Herbst ernten möchten. Die Zwergform hält den Baum kompakt und handlich, ideal für kleine Gärten, urbane Gärten oder zum einfachen Pflücken.

So far the trees are growing well. They even had flowers. Hopefully next year there will be apples. Very pleased!!

Even though this rootstock was purchased at the same time as another variety of apple tree rootstock, unfortunately this one did not survive. It was treated exactly the same as the other one, but where 1 tree broke dormancy while sitting in water for a day, this one never did leaf. Disappointing as we had this variety of apple tree at our previous address for many years and it produced wonderful apples for eating and baking pies!
