Puffer Fish® is a compact panicle hydrangea covered in fluffy white blooms, so many they nearly hide the leaves.
As the flowers mature to lime green, fresh white florets open at the tips for a two-tone look. Strong stems hold the blooms upright from early summer to early fall.
Use it in borders, low hedges and foundation plantings. Panicle hydrangeas bloom on new wood and are among the hardiest hydrangeas for the Prairies. Prune in early spring and plant in sun to part sun.
