Orienpet Lily 'African Lady' produces very large flowers, up to 8 in. across. Each bloom is raspberry red with a broad, creamy yellow edge and light speckling.
The fragrance is sweet and strong. Flowers open in mid to late July on sturdy stems.
Oriental-Trumpet hybrids combine the big flowers and scent of Orientals with the vigour of Trumpets. Plant it in a sunny border or cutting garden. Plant bulbs in fall or spring in well-drained soil, with the tops in sun and the roots shaded.
