Lily 'Kaveri' is an Oriental-Asiatic (OA) hybrid with large golden yellow flowers brushed with tangerine and burgundy. The colours blend like a sunset.
Each stem carries many buds, up to about 10, so the show lasts. The flowers are sweetly fragrant and open in midsummer.
It combines the scent of an Oriental with the vigour of an Asiatic. Use it in sunny borders, containers or the cutting garden. Plant bulbs in fall or spring in well-drained soil, with the tops in sun and the roots shaded.
