Lingonberry 'Red Pearl' is a Dutch variety with dark green, evergreen leaves and bright red, tart berries. It has an upright habit and spreads well.
Berries ripen from late summer, and plants may flower twice in a season. The fruit keeps for weeks in the fridge and is ideal for jams, sauces and baking. It's also disease resistant.
Plant it with another variety such as 'Susi' for better pollination. Use it as an edible groundcover, along borders or in containers. Plant in full sun in well-drained, acidic soil (pH 4.0-6.0).
