Peony 'Highlight' produces dramatic, very dark red, fully double flowers up to 6½" across. Strong stems hold the large blooms upright.
It sets few side buds, so the plant puts its energy into fewer, bigger flowers. Blooms open in late midseason, extending your peony display after the early varieties finish.
Plant it in a sunny border or cutting garden. It makes an outstanding cut flower.
