Peony 'Sunny Girl' is a rare yellow herbaceous hybrid peony with fully double, butter-yellow blooms 6 to 7 in. across. The flowers soften to cream as they age and have a light scent.
It blooms early in the peony season on sturdy, upright stems. A peony ring helps hold the big blooms up in heavy rain. Bred by Chris Laning.
Plant it in full sun in a sheltered spot, in borders or the cutting garden.
