I don't know what went wrong with our cucumbers this year. Only one cucumber came up in one row and about 3/4 came up in the second row. I'm blaming the weather! Our neighbour planted cucumber plants and lost all of them. The greenhouse told her that many people have lost their plants. They don't know why.
