Sweet Pea 'Nimbus' is a Spencer-type climber with unusual grey-white flowers streaked and edged in dark, smoky colour. The fragrance is exceptional.
It climbs 6 to 8 feet, so give it a sturdy trellis or fence. The more you cut, the more it blooms. Blooms last 4 to 5 days in a vase.
Soak seeds for 24 hours before sowing. Start indoors 10 to 12 weeks before last frost or sow directly in early spring. Seeds are not edible.
