This award-winning pepper brings outstanding flavour, productivity, and early maturity to your garden! An AAS winner in 2017, Aji delivers excellent vigour and higher yields compared to older varieties.

The narrow, conical peppers have a delicate citrus flavour with medium heat, making them perfect for fresh eating, cooking, grilling, or adding zip to salsas. The fruit is crispy, thin-walled, and typically 3–4 inches long with a diameter of about 1½ inches, averaging 42 g each.

Peppers mature from green to bright red, and are delicious at any stage. They also dry beautifully, making them ideal for flavourful homemade paprika.

A productive, versatile pepper that brings both heat and outstanding taste to the kitchen.

Planting Instructions
Start seed indoors 6-8 weeks before transplanting out to the garden. Cover seeds with 1/4 in. of soil. Firm soil over seed. Keep moist but not waterlogged. To germinate maintain a soil temperature of 22°C. Seed should germinate in 10-14 days. Once seeds have sprouted, 14-16 hours of light per day is essential. Once plants have reached 5 in. transplant to 3 in. peat pots. Plants will develop better with a growing temperature of 17°C until transplanting out. 

Pro Tip: Fertilize weekly with Liquid Seaweed Fertilizer for strong root development. Do not transplant out till night temperatures are warm.
