Une pommier colonnaire rustique et passionnante, issue de l'Université de la Saskatchewan ! La Northern Arrow Treasure Red est conçue pour les petits espaces et offre un rendement maximal dans un format ultra-compact . Au lieu de branches étalées, cet arbre unique produit des fruits sur de courts dards qui poussent serrés le long du tronc principal, idéal pour les patios, les petits jardins et les espaces restreints.
Le fruit, d'un rouge cerise éclatant , est gros, lisse et recouvert d'une pruine cireuse naturelle. Il mûrit à la mi-septembre et offre une texture croquante et une saveur exceptionnelles, semblables à celles de la variété McIntosh. Il se conserve également très bien ! Ces arbres sont magnifiques plantés le long d'une clôture, d'une terrasse, d'une allée ou même dans de grands pots.

Unfortunately my tree has failed to produce any leaves or signs of growth of any kind. I planted it according to the on line instructions and in an area that has successfully grown fruit trees before. Certainly no shortage of water this year.

1 out of 2 trees seems dead. I have wrote twice to them with pictures and all the information stated on the website and never got an answer back...

Sadly never broke dormancy and never leafed out, it was among a small orchard of a dozen with lots of experience.

We’re sorry to hear that your apple tree did not leaf out and that you noticed mould on the roots. Some surface mould can occasionally develop on bare-root plants during shipping or storage due to moisture and limited air circulation.
Apple trees can sometimes take longer to break dormancy after being planted, particularly in their first season. The tree may be focusing its energy on establishing new roots before producing leaves and shoots. Soil temperature, weather conditions, transplant stress, and the individual variety can also influence how quickly a tree begins to show growth.
Our warranty policy requires a minimum of six weeks after planting for bare-root trees to become established, as some trees can take longer than expected to break dormancy and begin showing new growth.
We understand how disappointing it is when a tree does not show signs of life, and we appreciate you sharing your experience with us.

Both trees are doing well
The bareroot established quickly and is growing well. I'll have to wait another 5 years to tell you how the fruit is.
This rootstock has settled in nicely and even had some blossoms in its first season.

The first tree purchased a few years ago is amazing. Lush and growing strong. 3 years later i was informed it needs a partner tree and is not self pollinating. Unfortunately this latest stock has failed to grow. A warranty claim will be started in August as told by staff member. I'll have to wait another year or so to see any apples
The tree has been planted for two months and no revival. This is on top of two trees ordered last year, ie Patterson plum and pembina plum that did not revive.
Thank you for the update, and for your patience through the six-week wait. Since it's now been two months with no growth, this qualifies under our warranty and we'll take care of it. Please send us an email to garden@ttseeds.com and we will have a warranty claim started for you right away.
I also want to acknowledge the Patterson Plum and Pembina Plum from last year that didn't take. Three plants not reviving in a row is well outside the norm, and I'd like to look into this properly rather than just resolve each one individually. Could you let me know the order numbers for those two as well, and briefly how and where they were planted? I want to make sure we're not missing something on our end, whether that's stock quality or care instructions that need to be clearer.

We recommend performing a scratch test if you haven't already. If you find green tissue beneath the bark, the tree is still alive and may simply be slower to break dormancy. Some apple trees can take 10 weeks or more to leaf out, depending on the variety and growing conditions. If the it still has no signs of growth after 10 weeks from planting, please send us clear photos of the entire tree, the base of the trunk, and the planting area.
