Calla Lily 'Frozen Queen' is grown as much for its leaves as its flowers. The foliage is heavily variegated in silvery-white to cream with green edges, and the white pattern spreads as each leaf opens.
Cherry-red to wine-red, chalice-shaped blooms with yellow-orange centres appear from summer into fall. It's deer and rabbit resistant and makes a great cut flower.
Grow it in containers, patio pots or garden beds in moist, well-drained soil. Plant in spring after frost, and lift and store the tubers indoors over winter.
