Clematis 'Rain Dance' is a bush clematis from Walters Gardens with flowers as big as those on a vining clematis. Large indigo blue blooms, 2½ to 3" across, face outward so you can enjoy them at eye level. Each flower has darker midribs and lighter margins.
This is a non-vining perennial clematis, so it won't climb on its own. Give it some support with a stake, a garden obelisk or neighbouring plants, and let the stems lean through the border.
It's a good choice for the middle of a perennial border or a cottage garden where you want clematis blooms without a trellis.
Hardiness Zones: 3-7 Light: Full Sun to Part Shade Bloom Time: Summer Flower Colour: Indigo Blue Care Tip: Provide support; non-vining
