Pommier Kerr , une variété unique et robuste très appréciée dans les Prairies, est un croisement entre le pommier Dolgo et le pommier Haralson. Il produit de gros fruits rouge foncé, croquants, juteux et savoureux. Extrêmement rustique jusqu'à -45 °C , cet arbre est productif, résistant aux maladies et fiable même dans les climats les plus rigoureux.
Ce fruit est excellent à consommer frais et permet de réaliser une gelée exceptionnelle aux couleurs riches.
Hauteur à maturité : 15 à 20 pieds.
Envergure à maturité : 12 à 15 pieds.
Rusticité : Très rustique jusqu'à –45 °C
Port : Érigé, moyennement étalé
Pollinisation : Nécessite un autre pommier ou pommier sauvage pour la pollinisation croisée.

An excellent tree
I have so disappointed. Neither of the apple trees that came this year have broken dormancy. I followed all instructions about soaking and then planting.

We understand how disappointing it can be to carefully follow the planting instructions and not see the growth you were expecting. Bare root apple trees can sometimes take longer than expected to establish, and it is not uncommon for some varieties to take 10 weeks or more to break dormancy depending on weather, soil temperatures, and growing conditions.
We recommend performing a scratch test on the branches or trunk to check for green tissue beneath the bark. If the tree is still green underneath, it is a positive sign that the tree is alive and may simply need more time. Continue to keep the soil consistently moist (but not saturated) and fertilize according to the manufacturer's recommendations to support establishment.
If the trees still have not shown signs of growth after the recommended establishment period, please email garden@ttseeds.com with your order number, planting date, and clear photos of the trees, including the planting area and any product tags if available. Photos are required for all warranty claims.

we recommend performing a scratch test if you haven't already. If you find green tissue beneath the bark, the tree is still alive and may simply be slower to break dormancy. Some apple trees can take 10 weeks or more to leaf out, depending on the variety and growing conditions.
If the it still has no signs of growth after 10 weeks from planting, please send us clear photos of the entire tree, the base of the trunk, and the planting area. We'll be happy to review the information with you.
