Sorrel

Tender, fresh green leaves grow to about 8 inches long and have an intense, lemony flavour. Sorrel adds a bright, tangy note when used sparingly in salads or more generously in soups, stews, and sauces, especially with fish.

Planting Tip:
Most herbs prefer a sunny location with well-drained soil that is not too wet. Aim to plant where herbs receive at least 5 hours of direct sunlight each day. Herbs grow well in most soils but thrive in light, sandy soil enriched with peat moss or leaf mold and a moderate amount of fertilizer.
