Home Apple Orchard Collection

Home Apple Orchard Collection

This bundle pollinates itself. Four Prairie-proven apple trees selected so Honeycrisp - already in the collection - fulfills the pollination requirement for both Anna Gold and Valentine, giving you a complete, self-contained home orchard with no extra trees needed.

What's inside:

Anna Gold and Valentine both list Honeycrisp by name as a compatible pollinator, so the moment all four trees are in bloom together your orchard is working as a unit. Add the columnar Northern Arrow Treasure Red for anyone short on space - at just 3-4ft wide it slots between the others without crowding - and you have four distinct harvests running from mid-September through late September. Between them the collection covers every use: fresh snacking from Anna Gold and Honeycrisp, long cold-storage from Honeycrisp (up to 7 months), juicing and baking from Northern Arrow Treasure Red, and pies plus sauce from the very large Valentine. All four varieties are Prairie-hardy, with Anna Gold and Northern Arrow Treasure Red bred at the University of Saskatchewan and Valentine selected and proven right in Saskatchewan.

1 out of 2 trees seems dead. I have wrote twice to them with pictures and all the information stated on the website and never got an answer back...

Hi,

We've searched our records but were unable to find any emails regarding your claim. Please send your information again to garden@ttseeds.com, including your order number and photos of the tree, and our Customer Service team will be happy to review your claim as quickly as possible.

The first tree purchased a few years ago is amazing. Lush and growing strong. 3 years later i was informed it needs a partner tree and is not self pollinating. Unfortunately this latest stock has failed to grow. A warranty claim will be started in August as told by staff member. I'll have to wait another year or so to see any apples

So far, so good. It's alive and growing. Thanks T/T Seeds!

The seedling came with the stem snapped but it has since grown back and is doing well.

The tree has been planted for two months and no revival. This is on top of two trees ordered last year, ie Patterson plum and pembina plum that did not revive.

Thank you for the update, and for your patience through the six-week wait. Since it's now been two months with no growth, this qualifies under our warranty and we'll take care of it. Please send us an email to garden@ttseeds.com and we will have a warranty claim started for you right away.

I also want to acknowledge the Patterson Plum and Pembina Plum from last year that didn't take. Three plants not reviving in a row is well outside the norm, and I'd like to look into this properly rather than just resolve each one individually. Could you let me know the order numbers for those two as well, and briefly how and where they were planted? I want to make sure we're not missing something on our end, whether that's stock quality or care instructions that need to be clearer.

Did not bud out and could be non-viable. Please replace!

We recommend performing a scratch test if you haven't already. If you find green tissue beneath the bark, the tree is still alive and may simply be slower to break dormancy. Some apple trees can take 10 weeks or more to leaf out, depending on the variety and growing conditions. If the it still has no signs of growth after 10 weeks from planting, please send us clear photos of the entire tree, the base of the trunk, and the planting area. We'll be happy to review the information with you. Please let us know if you have any questions. We look forward to hearing how your trees progress.

Years ago I bought a Honeycrisp tree from t&t and planted it in my eight tree "orchard" in Saskatchewan. The apples were superb. Just as advertised. We have since moved near to apple orchard country in Ontario. What is the top rated apple of the impressive list of varieties offered? Honeycrisp. They sell for a dollar a pound more than the others out here. The same apple developed at the University of Minnesota, but if I remember correctly, the ones back home were a little tastier :-)
