A hardy Prairie favourite, Alberta Buff produces attractive green apples with a warm blush of red. Larger and later-ripening than Norkent, this variety is celebrated for its sharp, sweet flavour—often compared to Honeycrisp. It has repeatedly been voted the top apple for flavour at the Devonian Gardens Fall Fruit Festival in Alberta.

Alberta Buff offers excellent fresh-eating quality along with very good keeping ability, making it a dependable choice for Prairie orchards.
