The Dandy Twins are medium bush beans that produce smooth, round pods measuring about 4 in. long. This very early variety is perfect for various culinary uses including French cuts, canning, freezing, or making delicious Dill Beans. The Dandy Twins hold their pods high off the ground on a compact bush, making harvest easy and keeping the beans clean.

Size: Mature plants reach approximately 18 to 24 in. tall with a spread of 12 to 18 in.

Yield: Generous harvest of beans suitable for multiple culinary uses.

Taste: Mild and sweet, ideal for fresh eating or preserving.

How to use: Excellent for canning, freezing, or adding to salads and stir-fries.

Planting tips: Sow seeds in well-drained soil with full sun exposure at a depth of 1 in. Spacing should be about 2 to 4 in. between plants.

Harvest tips: Beans are ready when pods are firm and plump; pick regularly to encourage continued production.

Both Dandy Gold and the green beans do really well in my garden and I get more than 2 pickings out of them each. I just prep them, blanch them, bag and pop them in my freezer. They keep very well and work well in my soups and stews.
