Emerges deep green, takes on purple tones beginning midsummer, then deepens to near-black by fall. Burgundy red inflorescences stand well above the upright habit. Ht 4-5ft.

Has barely got going. Have read up on it's requirements and think maybe it didn't like being fertilized. It is growing, just slow.
