Package arrived with 3 sickly plugs. They were planted on a large container as we were departing on vacation the next day. Upon our return only one of the Boreal Beauty plugs had survived , even though I had a relative looking after them. This one plug is now a decent looking plant and it will be the pollinator for the existing Haskaps we already had in our garden. I am unhappy with the result but thankful that at least one of the plugs survived.
Young bare rootstock is a dormant, living plant shipped without soil. It may look like a small stick with exposed roots, but this is completely normal. The plant is harvested while dormant and kept cool for shipping. Once planted and temperatures warm, it will begin to establish and leaf out with proper care.

Decently large plants with a great root system. Had about 95% transplant success. I would buy these plants again.
