This giant Carrot is very deceiving, an Oriental type with amazing size and a very sweet tender flavour. Carrots are 8 in. long and can easily weigh up to 1lb. Fun for the Kids to grow too!

I've tried different varieties in my raised bed, this type has given very good results. Bed is 10-12" deep and closed at the base, carrots were 6-8" long and 1-1.5" wide with good formation, nice colour. They tasted decent fresh, I sliced and froze most for winter soups.
