Best variety for heavy clay soils! Very productive and easy to harvest. Sweet flesh, deep orange in color. Best storage variety. 7 in. roots.

Planting Instructions
Seed outdoors as soon as weather and soil conditions permit. Cover seed lightly with soil, 6-7 seeds per 1ft. of row. Average garden soil and a sunny location is ideal. Carrots germinate in 7-14 days. Keep soil moist until all seed has germinated, do not allow soil to crust. As Carrot seed is very fine it can cook on extreme hot days. The garden blanket is ideal as an aid speed-up germination. Thin to 1.5 in. apart when plants are 3 in. high. Approximately 900 seeds per gram.
