55 DAYS
Brassica oleracea var. botrytis

The Majestic Cauliflower is developed specifically for home gardeners seeking better head quality compared to early varieties. With a generous head size of 8 in. and dense, pure white curds, it offers not only great visual appeal but also exceptional taste. This strong grower is an impressive addition to any garden, ensuring a delightful and productive harvest.

Size: Mature heads reach up to 8 in. in diameter, supported by sturdy plants typically around 12 to 18 in. tall.

Yield: Provides a good yield of high-quality heads throughout the growing season.

Taste: Mild, creamy flavour that is excellent for steaming, roasting, or adding to various dishes.

How to use: Enjoy fresh in salads, steamed as a side dish, or roasted with other vegetables. It can also be frozen for later use.

Planting tips: Sow seeds outdoors as soon as soil conditions allow, placing them about 1 in. deep with 6 to 7 seeds per 1 ft. of row. Ensure well-drained soil and full sun for optimal growth. Thin seedlings to 1 ft. apart once they reach 3 in. in height.

Harvest tips: Heads are ready for harvest when they are firm and fully developed. Regular checks to prevent over-maturity will ensure the best quality and flavour.

Majestic cauliflower is absolutely the best variety for the central AB climate. It is early, and handles heat under a row cover that ruined just about every other cauliflower I’ve ever tried. The flavour is sweet and everything that a cauliflower should be. Thank you!
