This dwarf columbine has two-tone flowers in bright red and pale yellow, with long, graceful spurs. They sit just above a compact mound of foliage.
It blooms from spring into summer and flowers the first year. Hummingbirds and pollinators love it, and deer and rabbits tend to leave it alone.
Plant it in part shade or sun along edges, in rock gardens or in containers. Columbines are short-lived but self-seed to keep the display going.
