Planting tips: Sow in rows 36 in. apart, 1.5 in. deep, with about 3 seeds per 12 in. Firm down soil and ensure a soil temperature of at least 15°C for germination. Corn is a heavy feeder, so consider applying a fertiliser every 10 days leading up to harvest.
Harvest tips: When cobs are plump and the silk has turned brown, they are ready to be picked for the sweetest flavour.
