Daylily 'Night Embers' has rich, velvety double flowers in bing cherry red with crisp white edges and a green throat. Blooms are about 5" across.
It's fragrant, blooms in early to midsummer and reblooms later in the season. It won the American Hemerocallis Society's Ida Munson Award in 2007 for best double daylily.
Daylilies are tough, low-maintenance perennials. Plant it in sunny borders, mass plantings or along a path.
