Meet the earliest-maturing habanero yet! Helios has a vigorous growth habit with excellent fruit set, producing loads of slightly sweet, incredibly hot and tasty peppers throughout the season. The medium-to-large fruit measure about 3 × 1.5 in., ripening from medium green to a rich, glowing orange.
Despite the heat, Helios delivers great flavour, perfect for fresh salsas, hot sauces, dehydrating, or adding serious fire to your favourite recipes.

Planting Instructions
Start seed indoors 6-8 weeks before transplanting out to the garden. Cover seeds with 1/4 in. of soil. Firm soil over seed. Keep moist but not waterlogged. To germinate maintain a soil temperature of 22°C. Seed should germinate in 10-14 days. Once seeds have sprouted, 14-16 hours of light per day is essential. Once plants have reached 5 in. transplant to 3 in. peat pots. Plants will develop better with a growing temperature of 17°C until transplanting out.
Pro Tip: Fertilize weekly with Liquid Seaweed Fertilizer for strong root development. Do not transplant out till night temperatures are warm.
