A long-time Prairie favourite, Pembina Plum is one of the most reliable and satisfying plum varieties for cold climates. It produces medium-large fruit, about 2 in. in diameter, with striking red skin and bright yellow flesh. The fruit is freestone, making it easy to pit, and offers excellent eating quality with a sweet, juicy flavour.

Cannot seem to get the Pembina Plum to grow. I have tried 2 years in a row and treat is the same as the other plum trees and it never seems to come out of dormancy.
Plum trees can sometimes take longer to break dormancy depending on weather and growing conditions, but we understand how disappointing it is when the tree doesn’t show signs of growth while your other plum trees do. Please reach out to our customer service team so that we can look into a warranty claim for you.
