Nova is a hardy, summer-bearing red raspberry from Nova Scotia. It produces firm, shiny, bright red berries with a lively, slightly tart flavour that keep well after picking.
Berries ripen early, from late June into July, about the same time as Boyne. It may set a small second crop in fall. The canes are almost thornless, which makes picking easy. Plant in full sun in well-drained soil. Canes spread to form a row.
