Planting Instructions
Seed as early as weather permits in spring. Make a trench 7 cm (3 in) deep. Drop 3 to 4 seeds per foot of row. Cover seed with 2 cm (1 in) of soil. The seed can be soaked for quicker germination, but must be placed in cool, moist soil when seeding. Once plants are through soil cover with another 2 cm (1 in) of soil and repeat until trench is level with ground. Thin plants to 15 cm (6 in) apart. Support with netting, fence or lattice work. Sweet peas like an airy location to help prevent mildew. Fertilize every 2 weeks with 10-52-17 and liquid seaweed for strong healthy plants.
