Swiss Chard Silverado (60 Days)

A slow bolting green chard with broad white stems that support heavily savoyed, glossy dark green flavourful leaves. More compact 16 in. plants. Excellent taste!

Planting Instructions
Seed outdoors as soon as weather and soil conditions permit. Sow seed 1 in. deep, 5-6 seeds per 1 ft. of row, in rows 15-18 in. apart. Later thin plants to 6 in. apart. Cultivate shallowly all season to avoid damaging the shallow roots. Seed outdoors as soon as weather and soil conditions permit.Successive seeding every 10-14 days will provide fresh chard all summer long. Swiss Chard may also be planted in the flower garden as a contrast plant.
