Invincibelle® Ruby is a smooth hydrangea with striking two-toned blooms of bright ruby red and silvery pink. Extra-dark foliage makes the colour stand out even more. It was named the 2020 Hydrangea of the Year.
Strong stems hold the flowers up, and it reblooms to give colour from summer into fall. It's a North American native.
Plant it in borders, foundation plantings or mass plantings. Smooth hydrangeas bloom on new wood, so a hard spring cut-back won't cost you flowers. Plant in sun to part shade with consistent moisture.
