Variété très appréciée dans les Prairies depuis longtemps, la prune Pembina est l'une des plus fiables et savoureuses pour les climats froids. Elle produit des fruits de taille moyenne à grande, d'environ 5 cm de diamètre, à la peau rouge éclatante et à la chair jaune vif . Son noyau se détache facilement, ce qui facilite le dénoyautage, et sa chair sucrée et juteuse offre une excellente qualité gustative.
Idéal pour la consommation fraîche, la pâtisserie, les conserves et les vergers de jardin où une production fiable est indispensable.
Hauteur à maturité : environ 4,5 m.
Pollinisation : Nécessite un prunier sauvage comme pollinisateur
Une prune rustique et productive qui offre de beaux fruits et une performance constante année après année.

This tree has grown some leaves close to the ground but not up the trunk
That have a good start
Cannot seem to get the Pembina Plum to grow. I have tried 2 years in a row and treat is the same as the other plum trees and it never seems to come out of dormancy.
Plum trees can sometimes take longer to break dormancy depending on weather and growing conditions, but we understand how disappointing it is when the tree doesn’t show signs of growth while your other plum trees do.
