This tier covers our field-grown and potted nursery stock: the trees, shrubs, vines and perennials that need to be dug and shipped while they are still dormant. They travel bare root or freshly potted and are ready to plant as soon as they arrive.

You will find fruit trees here, including apples, plums, pears and cherries, along with berry bushes like raspberries, haskaps, saskatoons, currants, gooseberries and blueberries. It also covers grapes, figs and kiwi, shelterbelt and hedging stock such as spruce, poplar, willow and cotoneaster, roses, hostas, peonies, ornamental grasses and the rest of our perennials, plus crowns like asparagus and rhubarb.

We expect that all orders for trees and shrubs will ship by April at the latest, weather permitting. Orders are released zone by zone so your plants arrive close to your local planting window rather than sitting in transit through a late frost. If your order also includes items from an earlier tier, such as potatoes, onions and hardy roots, we will hold those items and send everything together in one shipment to reduce your shipping costs.
