Five plants died but it was very dry this summer. Only one plant put out suckers. Berries are very tasty. I’m hoping next year will be better.

Poor quality, success rate was about 30%
Hi Charles, We’re sorry to hear that only about 30% of your Seascape strawberries successfully established. Young strawberry rootstock can be sensitive while developing its initial root system, and cool temperatures, soil conditions, moisture, and weather can all affect establishment. Saskatchewan did experience some challenging spring conditions, which may have contributed to the lower success rate. We appreciate you sharing your experience and hope the plants that did establish provide you with a great crop.
The bare root strawberries arrived in excellent condition (even through the mail), and once planted, took off and are growing well.
The bare root plants were well rooted and very healthy. They were coming out of dormancy and grew fast. Could not be happier. I trimmed off the flowers and runners until July 15 and am starting to get some ripe berries now. Hope they survive the winter in an unheated greenhouse.
Solid producers and very heat tolerant!

Great strawberries, every one grew & now already have berries on them
Our Seascape strawberries are doing very well. The plants are strong, healthy and starting to produce an abundance of large berries! I've made several baskets to give away to friends. These berries produces well in the ground and in baskets!
We are looking forward to when they will produce their fruit. Just letting them get established for now.

I potted these bare root strawberries before transplanting to the garden. They grew into nice healthy plants and have already produced big flavourful berries.
